An old friend and client contacted me recently. We worked together for many years in Chicago. Time passed; Marcia moved to Seattle and I moved to New York. We kept in touch and life moved along. Now she and her husband are moving to Homer, Alaska. Alaska! They bought a B&B which they have named the Juneberry Lodge, a nod to both the Juneberry bushes surrounding the lodge and to the former owner, a woman named June, of course. Marcia contacted me about designing their logo and this is what developed.
